I love spicy food and these are wonderful. I eat candy at work and am always worried about cavities. Not so with these, they are sugar free. I like the sweet cherry flavor with the hot bite they have. Hard to believe they are sugar free.

|Cayenne candy for mouth sores,
I ordered these for my grandson who gets mouth sores after his chemo treatments. He tried the candy and he said it hurt so he was reluctant to use them again. The taste is good and I think if he had used them before he got the sores, he might not have had them so bad.

May be a coincidence..
But I fed nothing but Science Diet to both of my cats for 11 years.
My 14 year old cat, Ollie, died in 2006 of Lymphoma of the digestive tract. A year later in 2007, my 11 year old cat, Baloo, ALSO died of Lymphoma, but it was in the roof of his mouth.
I joined Cat Cancer discussions online and found that MANY cat owners whose cats had died of Lymphoma had been fed Science Diet for most of their lives.
Many sites on the internet discuss the link between diet and cancer in our pets.
Well, for me, since losing BOTH of my friends, I have adopted two cats from the Humane Society, and will be feeding them exclusively ORGANIC, well balanced, wheat free, gluten free, by-product free food. I use Blue Mountain organic. I strongly recommend that animal lovers switch to balanced organic foods for their pets and let these mass producers of these garbage-filled foods go out of business!

|Great product for fat cats and lean ones, too,
Cats are like humans — they get more sedentary as they age and get fat. That’s when most cat owners turn to a product like this, Science Diet’s outstanding “light” dry cat food.
As a cat owner that recently added a new one-year-old cat, I am pleased to say my vet approved this product for my younger cat too. She eats a lot of it and still has lots of vigor to run around and do cat stuff. Our older cat also likes it and is thinner since going on a “light” diet.
Science Diet also mixes its light variety with a hairball prevention formula for cats that cough up hairballs. And, best of all, I just called my local pet retailer who told me no Science Diet dry product had been added to the recent recall over wheat glutens.
So, if you are looking for a way to put your older cat on a diet or make sure a younger cat doesn’t grow up to be a fatso, this stuff is a big part of the answer. The rest is up to you — feeding sensibly and making sure the cats stay active.

I am continually surprised that this food is rated as one of the best out there. Look at the ingredients. Cats are obligate carnivores, they require meat, not corn, not wheat, not brewer’s rice, not “powdered cellulose” or “soybean mill run.” None of the rest of these awful ingredients. Where is the meat in this food?
Please do your research & investigate the ingredients in any pet food you plan to purchase. Your pet’s health depends on your knowledge!
